PMR (Professional Management Review) Africa awards top rated companies in various categories on an annual basis. Vela VKE were awarded the 2010 Diamond Arrow - Outstanding first overall in the category "Combined Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers".
Vela VKE’s cable stayed bridge design dubbed “The Walking Wonder”, beat designs by three architectural firms to win the design competition for a new footbridge over the R21 highway.
M2 Consulting Engineers, who merged with Vela VKE Consulting Engineers last year, were the structural engineers on the new critically acclaimed art gallery known as Circa.
