Office Head - Greg Palmer

The office is headed by three main Principals, Greg Thiel, PE, Wendy Hemmen, PE, and Greg Palmer, PE.
Greg Thiel brings 38 years of civil experience focused on a wide variety of municipal infrastructure projects.  Greg manages wastewater and sewer projects, utility rate studies, storm drainage projects, water distribution projects, municipal street improvements and sanitary sewer lift station projects.  Greg is involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Water Environment Federation, and American Water Works Association.  In his free time, Greg likes to ride his Harley across the Oregon country with his wife.

Wendy Hemmen is a results-oriented Project Manager with over 13 years of experience in civil engineering and land development. Wendy is highly experienced in land use approvals, construction permitting, construction administration, plat recording and working with local jurisdictions.  Wendy is involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers and Clean Water Services Development Liaison Committee.  Wendy enjoys camping with her family of 5 whenever the opportunity arises.

Greg Palmer has over 16 years of roadway, civil engineering and utility planning projects. Greg's broad-based design experience includes commercial, residential, golf course and retail developments.  Greg has worked in the UK, South Africa and for the last 6 years in the US.  Other experience includes traffic modeling, regional utility planning, highway & interchange design. Notable projects include the 15 million sf Umhlanga New Town Center in Durban South Africa, West Highlands 350 unit residential Estate in Atlanta, GA, Legacy Ridge 500 unit residential in New York.  Greg is registered as a civil engineer in Oregon, Washington and Georgia. Greg enjoys the outdoors and playing golf.
